How can you have a ladies' or girls' conference without some men around to help? Pictured above are the three brave men who endured three days (I'm sure it wasn't that bad) of being surrounded by 400 girls and women. Rev. Buddy Thompson, husband of Conference Coordinator, Robin Thompson, was there to support his wife and do anything she needed for him to do. (Can you tell how excited he is??) Rev. Marty Varnell, husband of Conference Secretary, Melinda Varnell, was also there to support his wife (I think :), but more importantly, he ran the sound. Ricky Lapkin, is a professional videographer, who has been videoing our district ladies' events for over 10 years. He's become part of the family. He owns Memories Videography Company in Richmond, VA.
